Today, Duncan Middle School students will be participating in a Veterans Day assembly.
Choir students will perform in the DMS auditorium during fourth hour. The assembly is expected to last about an hour.
Cable Huizer, a sixth grade student, said, “Parents are allowed to come; well, anyone is allowed to come.”
One side of the gym is where all the choir students will sing, and the other side is where the other students and parents will sit.
Jayden Harvey, a sixth grade student, said “All the students that are in the choir are going to sing a tribute to the arm services, and there will be a solo boy or girl singing the National Anthem.”
At the Veterans Day performance the choir will sing, and some guest speakers are going to be talking about Veterans Day.
Although the performance will be during fourth hour, choir students will go during third hour.
There will also be rotations with other guest speakers in the afternoon beginning at the start of seventh hour.
