DMS Basketball Comes to an End

  Our Middle School basketball teams are finishing up the tournament. Both of our seventh grade teams played Monday night. But the eighth grade teams did not play. Eighth grade girls were supposed to have a game Monday against Tuttle. Tuttle had to forfeit due to a regular season game that got moved to Monday. 

   Daveon Carr, a seventh grade player, said that he was ready to finish the tournament. Carr thought that they were prepared to play on Monday night . Carr said that he wasn’t really ready for the season to end. 

  Arriyah Harris, a seventh-grade basketball player said she is ready to finish the tournament. Harris thinks her team will be prepared as long as they do what they are supposed to and stay focused on the game. She says she is not ready for the basketball season to end.

  Both eighth grade teams were disappointed that they didn’t get to play today but they are both ready for spring sports.
