Christmas break is coming around fast and many students will be celebrating it in many different ways. Some students may be going on vacation for Christmas while others spend Christmas at home with their friends and family. This Christmas break Duncan Public Schools gets out this Friday and comes back January 4th, 2022. Over Christmas break, it celebrates two holidays, New Year and Christmas.
Mason Harris, a 7th-grade student, explains what he will do over his Christmas break. He is extremely excited about Christmas and can’t wait to open presents and play video games with his buddies. He explains what he will be doing over this break: he says, “I will wake up, fix my beautiful hair, look at my beautiful self, and then work out every day for the entire break.” His favorite thing about Christmas is celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.
Riley Hunter, a 7th-grade student, expresses his feelings about the Christmas break. He is very excited about the break because he gets to leave school. He loves to do many things over break but his favorite is opening presents. He said, “This Christmas break I will be fishing with friends and family and opening presents.”
Eric Hernandez, a 7th-grade student, speaks about his favorite things about Christmas break. This Christmas break, he doesn’t plan on doing anything; he says, “I don’t think I’m doing anything. My plans are sleeping, eating my favorite Christmas foods, hanging out at the Simmon Center with my friends, and opening presents.” He’s excited to get a break from school because he says it’s stressful sometimes. Lastly, his favorite thing about Christmas break is sleeping.
These are just a few ways students at Duncan Middle School will be celebrating their Christmas breaks. This break is a way to spend time away from school and be closer with your friends and family.
