Duncan Middle School had its first dance of the school year back in October.
On March 24, another dance is scheduled. This time, the theme is “Mardi Gras.” This means that I and all the other DMS students can get dressed up in Mardi Gras-themed outfits.
I think the school dances are always exciting and fun.
The dance is hosted by the National Junior Honor Society.
Student Council will be in charge of the concession, which will include snacks and drinks, such as Sprite, Coke and Dr Pepper.
Of course, the dance will also include music for dancing. Mark Monteith, former DMS choir teacher and current agriculture director at the Stephens County Expo Center, will be running the music booth.
I think this dance will be fun, and it gives everyone something to look forward to. Many students already know what they are going to wear. I may wear a dress to the dance.
If I could have picked the theme of the dance, I would have chosen a Winter Formal themed dance because I could wear the colors blue, white or pink.
I will be going to the dance with many of my friends.
Duncan Middle School has had two school dances in the last two school years, and I think they should continue to have school dances because the students enjoy them very much.
The part I’m most excited about is seeing how everyone dresses up for the school dance.
