The school year is coming to an end, and summer will begin soon. Some students in elementary schools will be going to middle school, some students in middle school will be going to highschool and some students in highschool will be going to college.
Justin Romine is an 8th grader at DMS, Romine says he is going to do some mechanic work over summer break. He’s also not going to miss going to school over summer break.
Hailee Breeze is an 8th grader at DMS, Breeze said, “I will be going to Florida over summer break.” She is excited to go to high school because “it is better than middle school.”
Keighan Decarlo is an 8th grader and Decarlo says she is going to do nothing over the summer break. She said, “I will not miss middle school because I am excited to go to highschool and I think high school will be better.” She is excited to go to high school because she feels like she has more freedom than she does at middle school.
Jose Diaz is a 7th-grader. Diaz said, “ I am going to play video games like Fortnite with my friends and I’m going to play basketball as well.” He is also going to study over the summer. He is excited to go to 8th grade because he will get ready for the reading test and then get ready to drive a car, because to drive, you have to pass the 8th grade reading test.
Warren Hukill is an 8th grader. Hukill says he plans on playing Fortnite and getting a crown win during summer break. He said he is “not going to miss middle school because of the people here.” He is not excited about high school because of the new people and harder classes. He is not excited for the summer because all he does is spend 3 months with his family.
Kaden Morris is an 8th grader. Morris said, “I plan on working out over the summer.” He is not going to miss middle school because of the staff. He is excited about high school because of the new setting.
