Duncan Middle School defeated Chickasha Middle School 6-3 Saturday to improve to 7-3 on the season.
A single by Talon Lewis put Duncan on the board in the Top of the 3rd, but the Fighting Chicks would respond with 3 runs of their own in the bottom half.
DMS tied the game in the top of 4th thanks to RBI’s by C.J. Warner, and Sam Lipscomb!
Duncan would add 3 more runs in the Top of the 5th after Singles from Blaze Black, Brody Kraft, and Hayden Vandagriff.
Sam Lipscomb started on the mound for the Demons. The righty gave up 2 hits and 3 runs over 3 innings of work. Cord Byerly threw 2 innings of scoreless ball, allowing 1 and striking out 3.
Duncan tallied 10 hits on Saturday afternoon. Kraft and Lewis lead the team with 2 hits each.
