Elgin got on the board early when Zaden Bridges had an RBI groundout in the Top of the first. But Duncan and Talon Lewis would answer right back with a 2 RBI Single in the bottom half.
The Demons would add 2 more runs in the 2nd inning after a Caleb Davis triple!
The Owls would tie the game at 4 in the Top of the 3rd thanks to a double from Kameron Kinder, a Demon error, and a single by Bridges.
Duncan would take advantage of 4 walks and an RBI groundout from C.J. Warner to regain the upper hand.
The Demons would add 1 more in the 4th on an RBI single from Cord Byerly.
Blaze Black earned the Win on the Mound for Duncan punching out 3 over 3 innings of work. Black also got it done at the plate reaching base twice including a triple.
Caleb Davis and Sam Lipscomb supplied the BOOM for Duncan going a combined 2-4 and reaching base 4 times.
DMS will travel to Elgin on Tuesday to try and take the season series from the Owls.
