Oklahoma City, Okla – State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced a new and enhanced website and online presence for the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) today at oklahoma.gov/education.
“I am excited to share our agency’s new website with Oklahoma taxpayers and our school communities – especially parents and students,” said Walters. “Oklahoma is leading the nation in common sense education reform and our new website makes it easier to get more information quickly about all of our programs and initiatives. I am also very pleased that we have added new tools for public transparency, adding the ability for the public to sign up for newsletters and other information directly from the agency. This new tool is a fantastic resource as we continue to get Oklahoma schools back to basics.”
The new website is Oklahomans’ direct source for information and content OSDE provides. It will deliver visitors functional and user-friendly information, ensuring efficient and organized communication on behalf of the agency while streamlining feedback from parents, educators, and taxpayers.
The new URL for OSDE is oklahoma.gov/education. Some elements of the previous website will take a brief time to migrate to the new URL.
