As the United States prepares to hold its presidential election, Duncan Middle School will have an election of its own.
DMS will have a mock election. Students will vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.
“It will help you when you get older,” Cathy Barker, humanities teacher, said.
The mock election will run like a real election with students needing the register before they vote.
Barker said this mock election will help students know how the voting process works when they get to be 18 years old or older.
