The Masquerade dance will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Duncan Middle School gym.
The dance was postponed from a February date because of weather problems. Several eighth-grade students expressed their excitement about the dance because this will be their last dance as middle schoolers.
Paisli Price, an eighth-grader at DMS, said she will be attending the dance, with Reece Williams. Price said she’s wearing a dress.
“I’m most excited about hanging out with my friends,” Price said.
Jonathan McRae, an eighth-grader at DMS, said he doesn’t think he will attend Friday’s dance, but may choose to hang out at a friend’s house instead.
“I don’t think i will be going to any dances anytime soon because I don’t want to have to be at school any longer thanIi have to, and they overall aren’t appealing to me,” McRae said. “ If I did go to the dance, I would be hanging out with friends.”
