Over the course of the last month, the Duncan Middle School Football Team has held a fundraiser in which they sold Demon Cards.
Demon Cards are filled with coupons and sales perks for local businesses and restaurants. The sponsors are listed on the cards.
“Helping out my teams makes me feel really good,” Nathan Henry, eighth-grade football player, said.
The team sells the cards for $20 and help raise money to buy cleats for people who can’t afford them.
The football season at Duncan Middle School is underway. The eighth-grade team currently has a 0-2 record, while the seventh-grade team has a 2-0 record.
The first home game is Tuesday against Elgin.
