Duncan Middle School’s first home football game is set for Tuesday, and several football players weighed in on how they think their games will go.
Eighth-grade players Jace Loucks and Zachary Vermillion said they are not nervous about the game, but have a hard time believing they can pull off a victory. In the two games the team has already played, the team has not won. In fact, the first touchdown this season didn’t come until the second game.
On the other hand, seventh-graders Mason
Imel and Sebastion Baeza said they feel positive
about the game and are glad to be playing at
home. So far, the seventh-grade team is undefeated, bringing in victories in its first two
games. Imel and Baesa said they are ready to continue that trend.
Regardless of how the teams do Tuesday night,
all said they are excited about their first home game.
