Spirit Week came to Duncan Middle School today, as student and teachers dressed in their college best.
Spirit Week is a celebration of the Homecoming festivities at the Duncan High School. Each day this week, students will dress up for set days to take part in supporting their school. The high school’s homecoming game is set for Friday at Halliburton Stadium.
Today was college and frat day, where students had the choice of either showing support for their favorite college or university, or they could dress as if they were part of a fraternity. Many students who chose the latter did so with backwards caps, khaki shorts and collared shirts.
Other dress up days this week include:
Tuesday: Twin Day
Wednesday: Hawaiian Day
Thursday: Disney Day
Friday: Camo Day
Spirit Week is one of a few specialty weeks in October. Next week will be Anti-Bullying Week. And the last week in October will be Red Ribbon Week, which will also include dress-up days.
