The first pep rally is today, and Duncan Middle School cheerleaders said they’re ready.
DMS seventh-grade cheerleaders Allison Schreckengost and Julia Wilson, and eighth-grade cheerleader Anna Hutto said they were excited about the first pep rally of the 2018-19 school year.
Wilson said on a scale of 1 to 10, she was about a seven, when it comes to nervousness. Schreckengost rated herself about a two, and Hutton said she was about a one.
“I’m nervous because I know the dance, but I’m nervous for my round off back handspring,” Wilson siad.
They said they had their routines down to be performed, which they said practice and paying attention were two important parts to getting ready.
