Duncan Middle School students are spending the next few days celebrating Red Ribbon Week, the national anti-drug abuse week.
On Thursday, students wore their denim clothing for Denim Day. Several students and teachers participated in this day. Among them were seventh-grader Eli Ramirez and seventh-grade English teacher Amie Moore.
Red Ribbon Week dress-up days for Duncan Middle School is helping raise money for the National Junior Honor Society. Students paid $1 to participate in each day or $5 to participate in all six days.
The week started Wednesday, when students and teachers dress in their pajamas. The week continued Friday with Crazy Hair Day. On Monday, students and teachers will participate in Career/Professional Day.
