Duncan eighth-grade boys basketball team got its season underway when it faced off against Rush Springs in a scrimmage Oct. 29.
The Demons worked on their plays to get a feeling for what it will be like in their games this season. Skyler Powell and Edgar Pardo played their first competitive games.
Ethan Coskry, Jaxon Santos, Renjie Lin, Caden Stevens and Cullen Stevens started for the Duncan Demons.
Kase Spivey broke his ankle prior to the scrimmage and was unable to make the scrimmage.
On Nov. 13, Duncan will play its first game, which will be against Lawon Mac at home. The girls will play at Lawton Mac. There will also be a game Nov. 15, when Duncan plays Elgin at home, while the girls play at Elgin.
