Fundraising continues in Bedlam contest
Fundraising for the Bedlam contest in the Duncan Middle School office is continuing. As of today, the container for the University of Oklahoma Sooners has raised $91.76. The bucket for the Oklahoma State University Cowboys has raised $52.04. The funds are being raised for the Stephens County Humane Society.
If the OU container collects more money, counselor Bubba Clark will be duct taped to the wall. If the OSU container gets more money, Principal Rodney Strutton will be duct taped to the wall.
Bedlam hat day set for Friday
Friday at Duncan Middle School, students can wear either an OSU or OU hat to support their favorite team in the Bedlam game. To wear a hat, students must bring $1. The Bedlam game between the rival university football teams is set for Saturday.
DMS wrestlers to compete at West Moore
The 24th annual West Moore Open Tournament is Saturday at West Moore. This is one of the more difficult tournaments in the Duncan Middle School wrestling season. Several different divisions will be involved in the tournament, including B division 6, 7 and 8, junior high, and high school.
The tournament usually runs about eight or nine hours each year.
