As a way to learn more about what college has to offer, seventh-grade students will be heading to Lawton to tour Cameron University. Half of the seventh-graders are heading to the university today and the others half will head that way Friday.

Eighth-grade students Nathan Henry and Noah Spaulding were among the students who toured Rose State Collect on Nov. 16. Today, seventh-grade students are visiting Cameron University in Lawton.
At Cameron University, students will explore the campus and will be shown the classrooms. They will learn about degree programs, campus living and food options available on campus.
“I feel it’s going to be fun, and I’m going to learn about college,” Callen Villagrana, seventh-grade student, said.
To determine who is going on what day was decided with a split between last names starting with the letters H and I. This trip comes about two weeks after eighth-graders toured Rose State College in downtown Oklahoma City.
