Fall is coming to an end as November wraps up.
The leaves are on the ground, and it’s getting colder outside. Football Season is over. Families are trading their pumpkins for Christmas trees.
Only two weeks remain in the Fall 2018 semester.
For students, there are pros and cons to the end of the fall season. They are starting to look forward to winter, which brings Christmas, Christmas Break and the coming of the new year.
However, the end of the semester also brings the stress of final grades and tests. It also brings state testing closer.
Andrea Vargas, a seventh-grade student, said she is excited about the end of fall, which officially ends with the Winter Solstice on Dec. 21.
Vargas said the main thing she is ready for with the end of the semester and fall is Christmas. Although the season may be for giving, she said she likes receiving gifts, too.
“I get things,” she said.
Rylee Airington, an eighth-grade student, said she is also looking forward to Christmas because it is the day Jesus was born and because of the Hallmark movies that run throughout the holiday season.
