Gena Parker sat down with Demon Direct clubs editor Jentry Seeberger to discuss Parker’s role as reporter for National Junior Honor Society. Parker was elected to the role during the 2017-18 school year.
To be part of NJHS seventh and eighth-grade students with a 3.7 grade-point average or higher are invited.
Q: Why do you like being reporter?
A: I get to show off how successful I am, especially when it comes to my academics. I also like being the reporter for NJHS because it get to hangout with my friends.
Q: Why did you want to be reporter?
A: I wanted to be reporter because it’s something I’ve never tried. It was a great eye-opener and has opened up more doors for me.
