The Duncan Middle School will have its first dance of the year Friday. This dance is expected to be fun and will include food and concessions. The theme is Hawaiian.
The dance will start at 6:30 p.m. and will end around 8:30 p.m. The dance will take place in the middle school gym. Concessions will be in the school’s cafeteria.
If a student is not eligible (passing all of their classes), they will not be let into the dance.
The host of this dance is National Junior Honor Society.
The dance will cost $5 to get in the dance. There will be no exception, if you forget your money you can’t get in the dance. The concession will cost a little bit of money but it is not necessary to buy concession.
With the theme “Hawaiian,” students can wear all the Hawaiian gear they want as long as it is good with the school dress code. The gym and the cafeteria will be decorated as Hawaii. It’s not a requirement to dress Hawaiian. Students should also wear their best Hawaiian socks because shoes are not allowed on the gym floor.
