On Sept. 17, the Duncan Middle School softball team won its away game against Ardmore with a score of 8 to 7.
Softball players Aubrey Stratton, seventh grade, and Jaedyn Harvey, eighth grade, both thought their team did good in their win against Ardmore. Harvey later said that she wished she had hit better in their season game win.
Stratton thought that the team could’ve done better, but still did well overall. Stratton said she thought their softball team is ready for their next game.
Harvey said she needs to work on her batting and first basemen skills to be ready for their next game against Marlow.
The season wraps up this week with the Duncan Festival on Friday and Saturday.
