Football players run onto the field.Tuesday October 1st, Duncan Middle School football played the Altus Bulldogs. Duncan’s seventh grade team fell short to the Altus Bulldogs. The eighth grade football team was victorious.
Duncan Middle Schools seventh grade is 1-4. Duncan’s eighth grade is 5-0, they are continuing their undefeated season.
Ollie White the seventh grade quarterback, number 1 said that their game was alright. White said “ We could have ran the plays better during the game, and should work more on it in practice.” He thinks they could have tried harder. He does think they have worked harder in practice, the past couple of days.
Gage Ingram an eighth grade defensive lineman number 84, said that he thinks the game went well, but they did not do their best. Ingram said “ One thing that we can improve on our pass coverage.” He says their coaches are preparing them well, and making them work hard.
Sebastian Baeza an eighth grade lineman number 54 said, “ I do not think the game went well, we could have done better in the first half.” Baeza said they need to work on doing better in the first half. He thinks their coaches are preparing them for their games well in practice.
