On Tuesday October 15th, the Duncan Eighth Football team went to Lawton, and played the Eisenhower Vikings. The Demons fell short to the Vikings with the score 0-30. In the game, three starters got injured. This made six of their starters that were not playing.
Chago Barham, number three, an eighth grade running, back got hurt in the game. Barham was in the game at first, then got a major headache after a tackle. Barham was taken out after the tackle, and he sat out the rest of the game. He thinks the season has gone well, and he needs to work on not getting hurt in practice. Barham said to “ Quit putting IKE on our schedule!”
Kooper Kelly, number four, an eighth grade wide receiver, said that the game did not go well. He said that they got destroyed. Kelly thinks he did okay in the game, and that he could have done better. Kelly said they did not play well as a team, and that
six of their starters were out. He said he needs to work on tackling, and to “ take IKE off our schedule!”
Chris Kouts, number fifteen, the eighth grade quarterback said “We got killed and we didn’t play as a team.” Kouts thinks he did good individually. He thinks their season is going pretty good. He said “I need to work on my throwing.” He said “We did not work together as a team, we had 6 starters injured.”
Aden Hutto, number eight, an eighth grade linebacker, said “The game was bad.” He thinks he did pretty good individually. Hutto said “The season has gone well so far.” He said he needs to work on tackling. Hutto said “We did not play good.”
