With a new season comes new sports including basketball. DMS boys basketball teams are preparing for the upcoming season.
Mathew Maytubby, a seventh grade basketball player thinks this season for him personally is going to be a great learning opportunity, for his team he feels their going to do great. For Maytubby it’s his first year playing and he’s wanting to be a strong forward.
Eighth-graders Caleb McFatridge and Chris Kouts both think their basketball season is going to do pretty good. Kouts said that he likes the new coaches and he feels that they’re going to teach them a lot. McFatridge said that he’s been playing for four years now and he hopes to play shooting guard.
All DMS basketball teams will have a scrimmage on Saturday.
