On Monday December second all of the Duncan Middle School basketball teams played the Cache Bulldogs. The Lady Demons played at Cache, and the Demons played home. The eighth grade girls and boys both fell short to the Cache Bulldogs. The girls lost 23-30 and the boys lost 30-33. The seventh grade boys and girls pulled out a win against the Bulldogs. The boys won 46-19 and the girls won 38-17.
Callen Villagrana an eighth grade girls basketball player played in the Cache game. Villagrana said they could have done better in the game, and the refs didn’t call everything they should have. She said they played better in the second half, and wished they would have played good in the first half. She said, “we had trouble with offensive plays, and need to work on them in practice.” she thinks their coach did a great job at the game.
Rylan Ray a seventh grade boys basketball player said the game went well, and the refs were not good. Ray thought he played well in the game, and they played well as a team. He said “We need to practice dribbling during practice.” He also thinks his coach did well.
