On Friday, 12/13, We interviewed Crystal Gomez, about creating hope. We asked her a few questions about what she’s doing in creating hope and how everything is going. From her responses it sounds like everything is going pretty well! The first question we asked her was,
“What is going on in garden club?” She responded,
“We are working on one wish, and planning for more things next semester.”
If you are unfamiliar with one wish, it is a campaign people in Creating Hope do for kids in need. The kids in Creating Hope deliver presents to the kids anonymously.
“Why are you doing this?”
Crystal responded,
“We are doing this to help other people and the community.”
“How many people are in the club?”
“About 20”
“How many 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are in the group?” i asked.
“There’s an equal amount.”
“Do you guys go on any trips?”
“Last year, we went on a bunch of trips, and this year so far we’ve gone to the nursing home to help the hurt people and the old people.”
