Fellow Christian Athletes, also known as FCA. Eat pizza, a pastor talks to the students about God and then they do a prayer.
Wednesday, January 15th 2020. During each grade period lunch, they have a chance to go to FCA. FCA is here every month, once a month, on a Wednesday.
This meet had a very special meaning. This Wednesday, the pastor talked out how is daughter had come home and she had scared them.
He was demonstrating how fear can get the best of you.
5 students were interviewed. They are Andrew Gaither, Ivan Surhiner, Gage Berry, Patience Eichler and Wyatt Brown.
All 5 students attended the meet and all 5 were asked the same questions:
- What was the message about? 2. What was your favorite part? 3. Would you go again? And if so why? 4. How many times have you gone to FCA?
Gaither answered: (1.) We were made of self-discipline and power. (2.) The pizza was my favorite part. (3.) Yes because of messages about Jesus and pizza. (4.) I have gone to FCA 3 times.
Surhiner answered: (1.) They talked about courage.
(2.) Pizza (3.) I’ll go again for pizza and to learn about Jesus. (4.) I’ve been to FCA 3 times.
Berry answered: (1.)Courage, I’m pretty sure(2.) Him telling the stories. (3.) Yes because he had said a good message. (4.) All the time, since 6th grade.
Brown answered:(1.) It was about courage, his brother-in-law in highschool was always taller than him. (2.) The message and the story. (3.) Yes because they have good stories and they have good lessons. (4.) Probably like 4.
Eichler answered: (1.) Strength to do something and have courage and he said verses. (2.) Whenever Brandon got called out for cussing. (3.) Yes because i love Jesus.(4.) Since i’ve arrived at the middle school.
