Parent/teacher conferences are coming up.
Two sixth grade students Alexzandria Bailey and Keira Faber and an Eighth grade English teacher Brenda Hurley at Duncan Middle School talked about the conferences.
Bailey and Faber said that they think their parents will be happy with the grades they have. Hurley said she is happy with the grades her students have.
Bailey said that one thing she wants her teacher’s to talk about is how she acts in her classes. Faber said that she wanted them to talk to her parents about how good her grades are. Hurley said that she is gonna make sure that she finds something positive to talk about and try to stay away from the negative things.
Bailey said she doesn’t want her teachers to talk about her grades. Faber said that she doesn’t want her teacher to talk about how she acts in her classes.
Hurley said that if she is not happy with some of her students grades she will text them about their grades, call them in to be in her W.I.N class, or she will pull then in for lunch.Hurley said she is ready to talk to the parents and she is really excited.
