Today is the start of HALO Week for Duncan Public Schools.
HALO Week is a fundraising effort by the Duncan High School Student Council. But in the spirit of giving, all Duncan schools will be involved. Proceeds for the week will go to the high school’s Special Olympics team and six-year-old Bentley McMinn, who attends Mark Twain Elementary School and who is fighting leukemia.
Several giving opportunities have already taken place for HALO Week, starting in February. But there are still more chances for people to give.
This week will feature different dress-up days.
The dress-up days include:
Monday – ‘Merica Day
Tuesday – Superhero Day
Wednesday –
Thursday – Orange Day
Friday – HALO T-shirt Day
There is more information about HALO Week on the Instagram account.
