The Duncan Middle School track team had their first track meet on Tuesday. They had been working so hard to get prepared and they did pretty good. They came home with some medals, and were proud since it was their first meet.
Callen Villigrana an, eighth grade thrower said she enjoyed the first meet, but thought she could have done better. The throwing events she did were disc and shot. Villigrana said the best part of the meet was getting to miss school to hangout with friends.
Landon Holthaus, an eighth grade runner, thought that their first meet went pretty good. Holthaus ran the 4×1, 4×2, and the 400. He also thought the best part was getting to hangout with friends throughout the day. “ I need to work on getting faster,” Holthaus said.
