Last week of spirit week, which meant students got to dress up for each of the theme days.
This year’s theme for the whole week was Sweet Week, and every day had a candy theme. The days included pj day on Monday (Rolo out of bed), nerd day on Tuesday (Smarties), galaxy day on Wednesday (Milky Way), rock star day on Thursday (Pop Rocks) and wear red Friday on Friday (Redhots).
Many students at DMS enjoy getting the change to dress up and show their spirit.
Most of us like the idea of pajama day being one of the days. It just brings relaxation to many students and teachers.
Many students also enjoyed galaxy day because you get to be anything you want. There was a huge group of students from seventh-grade who dressed up like aliens to show their galaxy spirit.
Friday was all about wearing red. Many students were able to show their Duncan Demon spirit.
