The Duncan Middle School eighth-grade football teams played Elgin on Tuesday and walked away with a victory.
The eighth-grade played at 6:30 p.m., and the score was 28 to 20 with Duncan winning. The football players and cheerleaders were ready to take on the Elgin team at home.
While the eighth-grade team won, the seventh-graders weren’t so lucky.
The seventh-grade team ended with a score of 6-14 with Elgin taking the win. Despite the loss, the seventh-graders were excited to get a chance to play.
“Yeah, I’m hyped up,” seventh-grade running back Jayce Ramirez said.
The seventh-grade game started at 5 p.m.
The next game is against Lawton Mac at 5 p.m.
