On the week of Aug. 31 to Sept. 4, two separate groups of DMS students were sent home because of individuals who tested positive for COVID-19.
I ended up being one of the many students having to be sent home.
After only three weeks of school, three separate groups of DMS students were sent home to quarantine as a precaution to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19. Students who were quarantined went to distance learning, and some found it challenging to get their work done.
How I got my work done was just like how students did it when we went to distance learning to the last few month of the 2019-20 school year.
If I needed help, I just emailed the teachers I needed help from. I checked Google Classroom and my email to make sure I kept up on my work.
Those students who were put into mandatory quarantine on Aug. 31 got back on Tuesday.
