The Duncan Middle School softball season is coming to an end on Friday, and I feel pretty sad about it.
It’s my last year playing middle school ball, and I will miss all the girls I’ve played with since I was 8. We have continued to play together seven years later.
On Friday, the softball team will be out of school all day to play their final game. This means they need to get their work done before hand so they can focus on winning instead of having to worry about their school work when they’re in the locker room.
We will play three games, and the last game will be against Comanche, who is our biggest competitor. We beat them Monday night 10-9.
It will probably one of the saddest moments in middle school sports, but I am happy that I get to move on to more competition in high school.
