U.S. President Donald Trump tested positive for COVID-19.
Is it a coincidence that they just had a debate? In my opinion, yes, it’s kind of weird that there was the first debate, but by Friday morning, Trump tested positive.
Last night, Trump tweeted about his test result.
“Tonight, @Flotus and I tested positive for COVID-19,” according to Trump’s tweet. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this together.”
I still hope he wins the election, but I do wonder if former Vice President Joe Biden is getting tested for COVID. Can the election be postponed until they figure out what to do? Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive, and it could take two weeks or more for them to fully recover.
Hopefully, everything will go on as planned and not get postponed, but this is not going to go down smoothly. This will affect our country.
Trump refused to wear a mask, so it’s not surprising that he tested positive.
With the president and first lady in quarantine for two weeks (or until they get negative test results), the doctors in charge of the vaccine will be surely trying to make a breakthrough.
