The DMS football players faced Cache on Thursday with seventh-grade picking up its first win.
Going into the game, many of the seventh-graders felt positive they could win.
“I’m confident we will win,” Jackson Lorher, seventh-grade wide receiver, said.
The seventh-grade picked up a win of 32-20.
But they weren’t the only Duncan team to walk away from the stadium with a victory. The eighth-grade team also won, ending its game with a score of 34-6 against Cache.
Eighth-grader Preston Giles said he felt good going into the game.
“I’m for sure that we will win,” Giles said.
The next game will be Thursday against Ardmore. The game is an away game, and the team will leave after school to head to Ardmore.
