Select Duncan Middle School eighth-graders participated in Education Station today at Duncan Middle School.
Education Station is an enrichment program gifted and talented student in Duncan. Students get to do fun activities to test their STEM and mathematical skills.
The program is led by Stacy Smith, who is a teacher for advanced students.
Education Station is geared toward students in third through eighth grades.
The first activity for the middle school students was attempting to build using Legos. The students’ goal was to make something useful in life, a prototype to make the world a better place.
“The sky’s the limit,” Smith said. “We all have the right to be leaders in this world.”
