Tuesday was voting day, which means people 18 years old or older got to vote for who they want to vote for.
I’m not going to put who I would vote for personally if I was 18 because I don’t want to start anything, but I would vote for someone who would improve our world to make it a better and safer place. I would vote for someone who would do anything for the United States of America.
I feel like in school, teachers (probably social studies) should teach more about elections and their importances to students, even though they are not old enough to vote yet. I felt like it would impact students so much knowing the importance so they know what to think when they go vote when they’re old enough.
They need to know who to vote for, not just because their friend is voting for someone.
For anyone who votes, I hope you chose someone for the new 2020 president that you think will make this world a better place.
