On Thursday, the seventh-grade hallway got a new water bottle filling station.
This is the only filling station in the school that has been installed so far. The filling station on the seventh-grade call is a trial to see if the students use the fountain. Also, it’s a safety precaution the school is taking because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school wants to see how the students act with the water bottle station being there, Principal Rodney Strutton said.
“The water bottle filling station is just a way for us to add another safety precaution for our students,” Strutton said.
The water station got installed toward the end of the school day Thursday.
It has a place to drink from as well as a place to fill your water bottle. It can also show how many water bottles it filled and show how many pints it filled. It also lets users know how many plastic bottles were saved. It also as well as a straw like object that it hangs form ,and that’s where you get the water.
However, you have to go to the seventh-grade hallway to use it.
“It is expensive, and we are trying to see how the students act around it,” Strutton said.
