Today is Christmas Eve, and in 24 hours, many families will be waking up and opening their Christmas presents. Some of those opening gifts may find exactly what they want, while others may be left hoping for more.

Whitney Gdanski, seventh-grade English, has a Christmas wish that is at the top of many lists this holiday season.

Krystalynn Miles, eighth-grade, is wishing for something positive when it comes to her family.

Devan Johnson, sixth-grader, wants a basic need met for the holidays.
