The Duncan Middle School Choir is preparing for its Christmas Concert, which is scheduled for Thursday at the Simmons Center.
The Honor Choir will sing “12 Days of Regifted Christmas” and “Silent Night,” along with the Demon Coral, which is made up of seventh and eighth-grade vocal music students, and the Singing Demons, which is sixth-grade vocal music students.
The seventh and eighth-grade girls will sing “Hold Fast to Dreams” and “Ring Silver Bells.” The seventh and eighth-grade boys will sing “Hava Nagita.” Sixth-graders will sing “The Fox.”
To wrap up the concert, the vocal music students will sing “Silent Night” together. This is a tradition Duncan Middle School does to help spread Christmas spirit and joy around town.
The concert is intended to bring people together, and for some, it may be a way for them and their family members to find time to come together.
