Today, I am going to talk about high school.
This past week, all of the eighth-graders got, what felt like a 1-inch packet of high school class information. I thought that it was crazy that I was finally about to be a freshman. Until I looked at the electives
I wanted to do all of them.
There were so many to choose from that I just had to put to paper away until Thursday. There were electives like drama, all kinds of sports, Spanish, computer programming and journalism. I ended up choosing pre-AP English, STEM, Advanced Algebra II, Spanish, journalism, civics and Oklahoma history, cheer, cross country, swimming and tennis.
I think that high school is going to be a little bit harder than middle school, but I also think that it will be more fun.
I am hoping I will be able to go to college classes once I get to 11th grade.
I also think that Spanish is going to be a ton of fun. I have always wanted to learn how to speak Spanish, but I never had the willpower to study it. So, I hope being in a classroom will encourage me to learn this fun new language.
I hope swimming and cross country are just as fun as I think they are going to be.
Well, that’s all for now, and I hope you have a great week.
