Pom tryouts are the first week in March and they will be held at the Duncan High School and many girls are very exited to get started with the new season and new people. This year in the freshmen class there are not very many people trying out, which is bad news for the pom team, other people from past grades are still going to be on the team but since there is 3 seniors this year there are three spots to fill and they are worried about the spots not getting filled. The Duncan Pom Squad is a dance team unlike cheerleading it is a lot more technical with moves and less tumbling, but it can still be very fun if you are interested in dance or competition you should try out for the pom team you won’t regret it.
