“Epic” is a movie that I grew up watching. I like to say it is like “Thumbelina” in a way, just because they are both tiny people. In my opinion “Thumbelina is better than “Epic.”
Epic is a Bluesky Production movie. It came out in 2013 and is marked under family and adventure. It is one hour and forty-two minutes long and you can watch it on Disney+ with a subscription.
“Epic” is about a girl named MK who is magically turned small. She then finds a new group of tiny people and she has to protect their queen and find a way back home.
I love this movie I think it has a great storyline. It can be a little cringy but it is still good. My favorite characters are Mub the slug and Grub the snail. They add so many jokes to the movie and just make it ten times better. I like how they incorporated real-life problems within the characters.
I think they definitely could’ve made a second movie, I would have definitely watched it. I think the cast did great a popular singer was the voice of Queen Tara, Beyonce. She did great and so did everyone else. The animation is great, animated movies are one of my favorite things to watch.
I would recommend this movie to families, kids will love it and I think adults will too.
