During this recent spring break, many students and families used their time out from school to travel. Whether it was just visiting family out of town, or even taking a vacation to some place far away, it is important for those who traveled to practice proper safety guidelines after their return.
Depending on how long ago you had traveled, where you went, and what safety precautions you took, traveling could put you more at risk for COVID-19 than before. While spring break has already ended, I think it is still very much mandatory to be careful of possibly having and spreading the virus.
One easy thing to do to decrease the risk of spreading it to the people around you would just be to wear your mask. Simple, right? Even if you hadn’t been traveling, wearing your mask in public places, such as sporting events and other activities, is always a good idea. An additional precaution would be daily temperature checks. As annoying they may be, temperature checks could help greatly if someone comes down with a sickness, as they create an easy way for you to figure that out at home.
COVID has been around for about a year now. The safety measurements you take affects everyone, so be sure to be aware if you’ve been traveling.
