Dreamworks “Turbo” was one of my favorite movies growing up. It taught me to believe in my dreams and follow through with them.
“Turbo” is about a snail who has dreams of being the fastest race car. He gets the chance to follow his dream when an accident happens and he gets the power of super speed. He goes on adventures and makes friends along the way to win the Indianapolis 500.
It came out on July 13th, 2013 and it is one hour and 36 minutes long. It is marked under family and comedy and you can watch it on Netflix.
This movie can teach kids a lesson to not give up, keep trying, or follow their dreams.
My favorite character is Turbo’s brother Chet. He is so laid back and even though he doesn’t push Turbo to follow his dreams he is still my favorite character. I like how Turbo doesn’t listen to anyone telling him not to do it.
Many fans of the movie say there is going to be a second one on March 3rd, 2023 but it was not clarified. There is so much action in the movie that the main character is a snail so you wouldn’t suspect it.
This is a great family movie and I would recommend it to anyone especially for children.
