For the last few weeks of school teachers are not assigning many assignments. In 8th grade English, students are making different “ phones” describing the character they chose to do their phones over. The character they would choose comes from the book “That Was Then, This is Now”. The first page of the phone is to illustrate 5-7 apps that the character you chose that they would likely use on a daily basis, and they need to be sure to explain their reasoning behind their selection.
The second page is to make a playlist about your character you chose. I chose one direction as the person on my playlist and 2 different songs that I feel like match my character. The third page that is having to be done, is to make the wallpaper you feel like matches your character. I did a peace sign because the character I chose is a peaceful person and tries to be friends with everybody that he sees. And the last page that needs to be done is the text messaging back and forth with your character to another, but the creative thing is that we have to do it in the way we type and out little “ languages” we have or type to our friends. I personally think this project is easy and fun. You get to be creative and do what you want, but on the back you need to describe what all you put on the front. This is such a fun project and I would love to do it again sometime!
