Students walk to class Thursday morning for the second day of school.
School at Duncan Middle School started Wednesday.
Christopher Kouts is a DMS sixth-grader, who attended elementary school at Horace Mann. Kouts is one of many sixth-graders who had to navigate the hallways and learn how to work a locker combination to start the school year.
“Sixth grade has been good so far,” Kouts said. “The thing I was most nervous about before the school year was lockers, but they’re not so bad after all.”
Kouts said he love the sixth-grade teachers.
