This week, Chicken Express closed temporarily. They were short of staff and weren’t able to run the drive through efficiently. CHicken Express is my favorite place to eat, so it was pretty tragic when it closed. In this column, I will be expressing my feelings on the closing of this restaurant.
I usually visit Chicken express at least once a week if not more. Their chicken is really good, and the okra just compliments the meal. The sweet tea is the perfect drink to wash it all down. To go a week without chicken express was really hard for me.
Luckily, Chicken is back in business. They finally have enough staff to run the business. It felt like they were closed forever to me. The drive through is open, but the lobby is closed due to COVID-19 precautions. As long as I can still get their food, I’m okay with the lobby being closed.
